Quartet Pattern

  • Quartet Pattern will start at the 3rd floor elevators of the Hilton Hotel.
  • As directed by a Convention Hostess:
    • Move to the photo room.
    • Move to the warm-up room.
      (Each quartet will have 10 minutes in the warm-up room)
    • Drop off purse bags
    • Take the elevator to the 5th floor and enter ballroom as directed by hostess
    • Enter stage left
    • Have fun performing
    • Exit stage RIGHT and enter the ballroom through as escorted by hostess
    • A hostess will escort/direct quartets to the webcast desk

Chorus Pattern

  • Chorus Pattern will start outside the 3rd floor elevators of the Hilton Hotel
  • Your Convention Hostess will then escort you to:
    • The warm up room.  Primp supplies will be in the room.
      (Each chorus will have 10 minutes in the warm-up room.)
    • Ziplock bag purses should be placed in chorus purse bags provided and carried by designated chorus member to the drop off point.
    • Take elevators to the 5th floor as directed by hostess
    • Walk down the hallway, drop off purse bags to hostess and enter back of ballroom when directed by hostess
    • Enter the stage on stage left when directed by back stage personnel.
    • Have fun performing
    • Exit stage RIGHT, and enter the back of the ballroom as directed by hostess.
    • Purses may be retrieved outside the ballroom door
    • The hostess will escort the director and/or administrative leader to the webcast desk

General Info

  • There will only be this one riser configuration for all chorus competitors.
  • Remember to clearly label your quart ziplock bag with your name.
  • Contestants must have their name badge with them to enter the contest hall.

Walking the Pattern
Rookies will have an opportunity to walk the pattern at the conclusion of the briefing. Quartets will have the opportunity to walk on stage and sing a few notes after the briefing. Please line up in order of performance.

Competitor Photography
Quartet photos will be taken during the quartet pattern.  Chorus photos will be taken on stage. 

 

Special Needs
Please notify Karen Parsons about any competitor who is not able to walk through the pattern.
