Hello Great Lakes Harmony Region 17,

Pride of Toledo Chorus continues to provide Albums that will hold you contest pictures as well as candid photos from all of your Sweet Adeline events.
I will be coming to Contest weekend on Friday  and would be happy to deliver any albums or inserts for you.  This is an opportunity to save on the shipping fees.

DREAM Quartet is happy to announce that they reached their goal of collecting 500 sneakers (they got 519!)to support their journey to compete at the 2022 International Competition in Sept 2022. 

They have a new goal of 750 sneakers to help offset their expenses as Region 17's current quartet champions and will have a table at Harmony Weekend They're asking for everyone's help to get them to their goal! Can your chorus help? Please share this information and encourage members to bring their old sneakers to Harmony Weekend for dropoff. Children's and adult sneakers are welcome....

Buffalo Gateway Show Chorus has an exciting educational opportunity for you! We are preparing to compete at the

Sweet Adelines International Convention in Louisville, KY in October of 2023 and are inviting interested members of

choruses located in Great Lakes Harmony Region 17, Lake Ontario Region 16 and members from Spirit of Syracuse and

Seneca Soundwaves in Greater NY/NJ Region 15 to join us on the journey as a dual member!

South Bend's a cappella barbershop choruses, River Bend Chorus and Valleyaires Chorus, are once again joining together and bringing back our annual holiday benefit concert. 
This year we are moving to a new location, the Leighton Auditorium in the Community Learning Center in downtown South Bend. The beneficiary of all proceeds this year is Reins of Life, a local nonprofit whose mission is to improve the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities through equine-assisted therapy.

The Grand Rapids Chorus has been having a busy summer and fall with performances and coming up with new ways to get more exposure. Here are some of our new products:

1.  New Newsletter - We launched The Quarter Note this month, so our fans can keep up with all the exciting happenings with the chorus.  We had a summer filled with outdoor performances, and we are currently getting ready for a performance at the Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids. We are collecting 500 pairs of unwanted, outgrown, bored with sneakers! This fun and exciting project offers a QUARTET of Advantages!
1. Helps YOU clean out our closets!
2. Keeps Sneakers OUT of LANDFILLS!  (200 Million pairs of non-biodegradable shoes/sneakers end up in landfills each year!)
3. Sneakers are repurposed...they are cleaned and given to those in need!
4. Helps SUPPORT Dream Quartet on our Journey to the Sweet Adeline International Competition in Phoenix Arizona, September 2022!
